The Let’s Do Business Group is one of the leading providers of business support across the South East providing business advice, training, finance and networking opportunities.

Let’s Do Business Group delivers the South East Business Boost project under contract to East Sussex County Council. The project is part funded by the 2014 to 2020 European Regional Development Fund Programme.

The project is managed through the Business East Sussex Growth Hub and is aimed at supporting both new and established businesses to develop and grow.

Our team brings specialist support and experience providing a single point of contact for all business support needs.

As the result of a new contract we are strengthening and expanding our team in support of the business economy of East Sussex.

To provide support to businesses with developing business plans: particularly established businesses with growth potential, who need support in developing their business plans and businesses in difficulty, where a refocused plan may enable a business or jobs to be saved.

To support the successful delivery of ESCC’s role as a partner in the £12m European Regional Development Fund programme


  • To collaborate with other facilitators in the BES Growth Hub to identify and engage with businesses that require support with business planning – particularly those with growth potential or those facing difficulties
  • To provide expert advice and support on developing appropriate, high quality business plans to give potential growth businesses clarity and tools to take the next steps
  • To provide expert advice and support on developing appropriate, high quality business plans to fundamentally sound businesses which are in difficulty to refocus and turn their business around
  • Ensuring key performance indicators are achieved
  • Meeting prescribed targets relating to quality and contractual standards
  • Ensuring delivery of the programme business plan objectives and targets

Role Specific Requirements

Ability and flexibility to travel within the county and more widely to ensure the delivery of outcomes is an essential of this role

It is expected that the successful applicant will have access to a suitable vehicle which will need to be insured for business use.  Costs incurred for vehicle use for activities in connection with the position will be reimbursed at an agreed rate per month
