The Let’s Do Business Group is one of the leading providers of business support across the South East providing business advice, training, finance and networking opportunities.

Let’s Do Business Group delivers the South East Business Boost project under contract to East Sussex County Council. The project is part funded by the 2014 to 2020 European Regional Development Fund Programme.

The project is managed through the Business East Sussex Growth Hub and is aimed at supporting both new and established businesses to develop and grow.

Our team brings specialist support and experience providing a single point of contact for all business support needs.

As the result of a new contract we are strengthening and expanding our team in support of the business economy of East Sussex.

To help regenerate aspiration in local economies and support business creation.  The job to listen to, encourage, talk to, and support aspiring business start-ups, owners and entrepreneurs, to also direct them for help to known contacts and to the potential volunteer/ mentor panel.

To support the successful delivery of ESCC’s role as a partner in the £12m European Regional Development Fund programme.


  • Understand and inspire existing and potential entrepreneurs to become more enterprising and support them to increase and embed an enterprise culture
  • Identify/follow-up on referrals to engage with business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs to provide intensive support to help them understand their needs and signpost them to relevant support
  • Determine the entrepreneur’s/business’ needs by questioning and listening to business requirements
  • Integrate the support with other teams across the Growth Hub and wider support landscape and signpost to the most appropriate support
  • Deliver workshops supporting clients wishing to start a business
  • Ensuring key performance indicators are achieved
  • Adhere to all Data Protection and Confidentiality protocols

Role Specific Requirements

  • It is expected that the successful applicant will have access to a suitable vehicle which will need to be insured for business use.  Costs incurred for vehicle use for activities in connection with the position will be reimbursed at an agreed rate per month
