MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To provide administrative and research support for the activities of Locate East Sussex

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To support the delivery of the Locate East Sussex programme following quality controlled processes that will include liaising with colleagues, clients and partners
  • To promote Locate East Sussex and other services to assist companies under a variety of programmes
  • To ensure documentation and support complies with ERDF evidence requirements
  • To establish, maintain and update client files
  • To input data into client databases and extract reports as required
  • To provide support to the Locate East Sussex team through undertaking specific desk-based research work
  • To monitor and evaluate services and provide supporting evidence as required
  • To provide general call handling and maintenance of colleague’s diaries
  • To provide general office processes including reception, photocopying and file maintenance
  • To support continual process and service improvement
  • To undertake such other tasks as considered appropriate by your Line Manager, Office Manager or Chief Executive

Education, training and qualifications

  • Educated to Level 2 standard or equivalent

 

Skills, knowledge and abilities

  • Good communication skills with an ability to work with a diverse range of clients and colleagues both face-to-face and by telephone

  • Flexibility – ability to work across a range of projects, and with a range of stakeholders.
