We’re Sussex Business Award Finalists!

Let’s Do Business Group are pleased to announce we have been shortlisted for the ‘Professional Services Award’ at the 2022 Sussex Business Awards. We are also delighted to announce that our Business Manager Emily Wright has been shortlisted for ‘Young Achiever of the Year’

Hosted by the Platinum Media Group, the awards have been running for 33 years in 2022, providing a unique opportunity to showcase and acknowledge the best innovators, leaders and entrepreneurs across Sussex.

The Awards Evening, which will be held at the Grand Hotel on Thursday 1st December, aims to celebrate the business community and support the local economy, with a range of trophies to be won with awards for all-round excellence, and businesses demonstrating special strengths in areas such as innovation, customer service and professional services.

The Professional Services Award, sponsored by Mattioli Woods plc is awarded to an organisation that set the standards in the professional services sector. The accolade will be awarded to the business that bests demonstrates excellence in business management under-pinned by a strong financial performance and adherence to a professional code of conduct.

Let’s Do Business Group have been a consistent force throughout all of the turmoil of the last few years, providing support to those looking for a new career path, those needing to make changes to survive and those who have come out the other side and are now looking for progression. What keeps that force going is the people of the organisation, and our award submission highlighted that.

Our staff are all business professionals with years of experience whose passion for helping others shines through in their ability to build long lasting relationships and connections with our clients and other business professionals. The team are based and operate across a wide region of the South East and are truly invested in all of the businesses they help. Seeing the impact they can make to local areas and high streets, is really important to them. We aren’t a ‘faceless’ organisation. Our teams make a conscious effort to meet up with our clients face to face, even if just for a coffee.

The passion of our people is endless, and so we are delighted to see that recognised in Business Manager Emily Wright.

The ‘Young Achiever of the Year Award recognises the achievements of a young professional aged between 18-30 who has achieved a level of business success that defies their age. Their story demonstrates tenacity, determination and will be known by peers/mentors as 'one to watch'.

Emily Wright has been with Let’s Do Business Group since 2013. Now approaching 29, she has had to overcome a series of challenges through her life, but through her determination and enthusiasm, she has managed to forge herself a fulfilling career doing something she loves, whilst continually improving herself through a series of qualifications and learning from her peers. Emily is invested in every business she works with. She celebrates every success and feels every disappointment along the way. She truly wants the best for everybody and will give everything she has to be able to help them get to where they want to be. She is often described by her clients as an extended member of their team, and whilst the service she provides is free to each user, the value she provides is immeasurable.

We wish all the finalists the best of luck and look forward to the event!
