Empowering Herefordshire’s VCSE Sector: Successful Completion of Strategic Support Programme

Let’s Do Business Group is proud to announce the successful delivery and completion of a strategic support programme commissioned by Herefordshire Council and Talk Community, aimed at strengthening the county’s voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VCSE) sector.

Running from January to March 2025, this 10-week initiative was designed to equip VCSE organisations in Herefordshire with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to grow, become more sustainable, and amplify their impact in the community.

Through a dynamic programme of 13 workshops and tailored mentoring, the Let’s Do Business Group in partnership with Let’s Do Marketing and Supersonic Start Up reached 89 attendees with practical, engaging content, while also delivering 12 hours of one-to-one mentoring to provide personalised guidance and strategic insight.

The programme covered essential topics for VCSE growth and sustainability, including:

  • Business planning and bid writing

  • Exploring alternative funding streams

  • Procurement readiness

  • Marketing and digital strategy

  • Social media and SEO
