North Essex Business Support

Following successful completion of a 12 month contract from The North Essex Economic Board (NEEB), providing financial and business advice to 374 established businesses in the area, Lets Do Business Group are pleased to announce they have been commissioned to provide a Business Support service in the area for another 2 years, expanding their offering to entrepreneurs looking for start up advice.

The North Essex Economic Board (NEEB) is a partnership of local authorities in the area: Braintree, Maldon, Tendring district councils, Colchester Borough Council, and Chelmsford City Council. It was formed to support the economic growth of the area, making it a wonderful place to work, live, and do business.  

Over the last 12 months, Let’s Do Business Group, through the Backing Essex Business service have provided tailored support to a wealth of businesses, on topics such as accessing finance, marketing and promotion, improving productivity, business planning, staffing (including recruitment and retention), digital skills and decarbonisation.

The continuation and expansion of this service means that businesses in North Essex will be able to benefit from a range of business support services that can help them build and grow. This includes services such as mentoring, skills training, tools and understanding needed to help businesses succeed.
