Let’s Do Business Group and Hastings Area Chamber of Commerce are supporting the Hastings Centre Food Bank this Christmas by taking part in a ‘reverse advent’ calendar and collecting food items to donate to their local food bank ahead of the festive season.

The aim is to collect more than the 24 items, but for individuals taking part even the 24 items on the list will make a huge difference. Other local businesses and our Chamber members are encouraged to take part in their own offices to give back to our local community, especially after the last difficult 20 months we’ve all faced.

If you wish to donate to our collective donation our Chamber members may bring food items to our Chamber members Christmas lunch on December 3rd at La Bella Vista or alternatively arrange to drop off items at our headquarters at Ocean House where they will be gratefully received ahead of our drop-off date to the Hastings Centre on the 15th of December.

You’re also all welcome to donate to your local food bank by adding a few extra items to your food shop and placing them in the designated trolley in the supermarket (these are normally located beyond the till banks!) or take part at home with your family.
