Let’s Do Business Group wins at the National Enterprise Network Award for the second year in a row!
On Thursday 21st November, our Chief Executive, Graham Marley, and Operations Director, Craig Baston, headed up to Birmingham, to attend the National Enterprise Network (NEN) Annual Conference and Awards. Held at the co-working space, x+why, the NEN awards brings together small business advocates from across the UK’s enterprise sector, recognising high achievers who inspire and encourage small businesses.
Earlier this month, Let’s Do Business Group were shortlisted in two categories – Enterprise Support Organisation of the Year (above £750k) and Community Impact in Enterprise.
We’re thrilled to share that Let’s Do Business Group were announced as the winners for the Enterprise Support Organisation of the Year (above £750k) award for the second year in a row! Sponsored by blip, the Enterprise Support Organisation of the Year award recognises two organisations, one above and one below £750k, which have established and maintained recognition and impact within their local communities, demonstrating a sustainable and resilient business model that enables the organisation to continue provide enterprise support into the future.
Let’s Do Business Group originated in Hastings, East Sussex, over 30 years ago, to help people and businesses achieve their dreams. Since the pandemic back in 2020 and seeing first hand the impact it has had on small business, we have expanded our reach, spanning to more communities across the Southeast and East of England. Through our finance arm, Let’s Do Business Finance, we are a regional provider of the British Business Bank’s Start Up Loan Scheme and British Business Bank’s Growth Guarantee Scheme, in tandem with other support services and training, including our marketing arm – Let’s Do Marketing.
In Essex, we have been able to provide support for businesses looking to grow through 12-hours of free business support, access to business funding, and fully funded training through the Backing Essex Business Service. Championing businesses across the whole of county, with a focus on starting up in the North Essex districts and accessing finance in Southend, we have been dedicated to making Essex a prosperous place to do business and growing the economy.
